Tommy’s Market is one of the first businesses established in Duck and continues to be a landmark. We are a small town grocery and wine shop on the Outer Banks, we're not Whole Foods but we offer a wide and unique selection of local, regional and international specialty foods and wine plus an impressive selection of microbrews that has earned a global reputation. We are especially excited about our selection of gluten free, organic non-GMO products as well. On Tuesday's, May through September, we sample over a dozen specialty foods and provide wine and beer tastings. Of course our regulars will tell you a trip to the Outer Banks is not complete without a hand cut 21 day aged "Certified Angus" Steak, and our fresh seafood including Wild Alaskan Salmon, Steamed Shrimp and the best crab cake on the Outer Banks.

At Tommy’s Market and Wine Emporium, we offer a level of personalized service that only a family owned grocery can provide. Our staff gets to know our customers needs whether they are renting a vacation home on the Outer Banks for a week or serving the locals popping in on a regular basis. Thank you for the meal you created for my parent’s 50^th. The food was phenomenal and Kathy’s service was exceptional. She really took such good care of us and my parents were thrilled. Special meal highlights included the ribs (not one left over), the apple manchego salad (everyone was raving, just like you said they would!) and the cheeses on the cheese platter, which were amazing. I also have to tell you that those are the best gluten-free brownies I’ve ever eaten. I think I had brownie ala mode four nights in a row!! We’ve been coming to the Outer Banks since 2001 and Tommy’s has consistently exceeded our expectations for quality of products and service. You guys are amazing!! All the best for continued success. I just wanted to drop a note to say thanks!!!  We were in Duck last week ( 9/5 - 9/12).  The best steaks, veal chops, ham, bratwurst and sausage we have had!! And the bagels - outstanding!! Our whole group could not stop talking about the quality - you guys are the best!! I just wish you had a store near our home.  Next time we are in the Outer Banks we will definately be back in touch!!

You guys rock! BEST filet migon I have ever had! So good we decided to go and get them again a few nights later! On top of the best steak ever, I forgot how much fun your store is - the bread and bagels are great, all the special unique sauces and spices, good cold cuts, great wine and the best cajun crab dip!
